King of Killers is a 2023 action thriller movie based on a graphic novel by writer-director Kevin Grevioux. The movie stars Frank Grillo, Alain Moussi, Stephen Dorff, Marie Avgeropoulos, and Kevin Grevioux as a group of international hitmen who are contracted to take out the most dangerous killer in the world, only to find out that they’re the ones being hunted
The movie has a rating of R for strong/bloody violence and is available in theaters, on digital, and on demand from September 1st. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 13 minutes and was produced by Dovetale Media, Julijette, and Alain Moussi Productions
My review of the movie is as follows:
King of Killers is a fast-paced and action-packed movie that delivers on its premise of a deadly game of cat and mouse. The movie has a lot of impressive fight scenes and stunts, especially from Alain Moussi and Frank Grillo, who play the main protagonists Marcus Garan and Jorg Drakos respectively. The movie also has some twists and turns that keep the audience guessing who the mysterious killer is and what his motive is.
However, the movie also has some flaws that prevent it from being a great movie. The movie lacks character development and emotional depth, as most of the characters are one-dimensional and have little backstory or motivation. The movie also has some clichés and stereotypes, such as the Russian mobsters, the femme fatale, and the rogue agent. The movie also has some plot holes and inconsistencies that make the story less believable.
Overall, King of Killers is a decent movie for fans of action and thrillers, but not for those who are looking for a deeper or more original story. I would give it a rating of 6 out of 10.
