The Marsh King’s Daughter tells the story of Helena, a woman who was born in captivity to a kidnapped mother and a violent father in the remote marshlands of Michigan. She escapes with her mother when she is 12 years old, but 20 years later, her father breaks out of prison and hunts her down. Helena must use her survival skills to find him before he finds her and her family.
