rise of the red blade

SUMMARY

Rise of the red blade:When the Jedi Order crumbles, an Inquisitor emerges.

Iskat Akaris, a devoted Padawan, has dedicated her existence to traversing the cosmos alongside her master, imbibing the intricacies of the Force in pursuit of becoming a worthy Jedi. Despite her unwavering commitment, tranquility and mastery remain elusive, and with every setback, she senses her fellow Jedi harboring increasing doubts about her. Plagued by uncertainty regarding her standing within the Jedi Order, Iskat confronts tragedy with the demise of her master and the eruption of the Clone Wars, plunging the galaxy into turmoil.

Now a commander entrenched on the frontlines, contributing to the very chaos that ensnares the galaxy, she is frequently reminded: Have faith in your training. Have faith in the sagacity of the Council. Have faith in the Force. Yet, as tendrils of uncertainty tighten their grip, Iskat embarks on a journey of inquiry that deviates from the orthodox path of the Jedi: Posing questions concerning her enigmatic past, queries that the Jedi Masters deem perilous.

As the years unfold and the war persists, Iskat’s allegiance to the Jedi withers. She becomes convinced that with greater autonomy granted to her, she could exert a more substantial shield over the galaxy. If entrusted with deeper insights, she could ultimately dispel the encroaching shadows that threaten to consume her. When the Jedi Order eventually crumbles, Iskat seizes the opportunity to carve her own trajectory, embracing the beckoning salvation of Order 66. (Rise of the red blade)

In her role as an Inquisitor, Iskat finds the liberation she has perpetually yearned for—to probe, to desire. With each swing of her scarlet blade, Iskat inches closer to realizing her newfound destiny within the Force—regardless of the toll it exacts.
