Star Wars Summary
The story follows Reath Silas, a young Padawan who is being sent from the cosmopolitan galactic capital of Coruscant to the undeveloped frontier-and he couldn’t be less happy about it. He’d rather stay at the Jedi Temple, studying the archives and learning from the greatest Jedi Masters of his time. But when Reath arrives on the frontier planet of Batuu, he quickly realizes that he’s in for a very different kind of education. The people of Batuu are suspicious of the Jedi, and Reath must learn to navigate the planet’s dangerous politics and criminal underworld.
Along the way, Reath makes new friends and allies, including a young woman named Avon Starros who is determined to protect her home from the Separatists. Reath also faces new challenges, including a mysterious Force-sensitive artifact that could have the power to change the course of the Clone Wars. Padawan is a coming-of-age story about a young Jedi who learns to embrace his destiny and find his place in the galaxy. It is a must-read for fans of Star Wars and young adult fiction.
