Devil in Winter Summary
Evangeline Jenner is a shy, stammering wallflower who is desperate to escape her scheming relatives. Her father, a wealthy gambling club owner, is dying, and her relatives on her mother’s side are trying to keep her from seeing him. Evangeline knows that if she does not get away from them, they will force her to marry her cousin, a man she despises. She turns to the most notorious rake in London, Sebastian St. Vincent, for help. Sebastian agrees to marry Evangeline in a marriage of convenience, in exchange for his help in protecting her from her relatives.

However, their love is not without its challenges. Sebastian’s enemies are determined to destroy him, and Evangeline’s relatives are still plotting against her. But together, Sebastian and Evangeline must find a way to overcome all obstacles and build a future together. In the end, Sebastian and Evangeline are able to find happiness together, despite the challenges they face.
