Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons Comic Book Review

Summary

Wonder Woman Historia: Many ages in the past, Queen Hera and the goddesses of the Olympian pantheon became increasingly discontented with their male counterparts. Acting discreetly, they devised a plan far from prying eyes. This strategy birthed an entirely new society, previously unseen on Earth, capable of both marvelous and fearsome feats. However, their existence couldn’t remain concealed for an extended period.

When Hippolyta, a woman weighed down by despair, crossed paths with the Amazons, a chain of events was set into motion. These events would eventually culminate in a full-blown conflict spanning the realms of heaven and Earth. Amidst this turmoil emerged Earth’s greatest guardian.

Renowned talents Kelly Sue DeConnick, Phil Jimenez, Gene Ha, and Nicola Scott collaborate to deliver a reading experience that has garnered critical acclaim and even earned the prestigious Eisner Award. Their work boasts breathtakingly exquisite artwork and a narrative that will linger in your thoughts. This is a storytelling adventure unlike any you’ve encountered before, leaving an indelible mark on your imagination. Wonder Woman Historia
