Loving Logan is a 2016 American short film written and directed by Katie Bryan. The film stars Michael Galante as Shawn, a man who falls in love with a mysterious woman named Brie (Laura Oceane) on their first date. However, Shawn soon learns that Brie has a secret: she is in love with another man, Logan (Paul Michael Draper).
The film opens with Shawn and Brie on their first date. They seem to hit it off immediately, and Shawn is immediately smitten with Brie’s beauty and intelligence. However, Brie seems distracted and withdrawn at times, and Shawn begins to wonder what is on her mind.
After the date, Shawn and Brie continue to text and talk, and Shawn becomes even more drawn to her. He eventually confesses his love for her, but she tells him that she is not ready for a relationship. Shawn is disappointed, but he respects her decision.
One day, Shawn sees Brie walking down the street with Logan. He is heartbroken, but he realizes that he cannot force Brie to be with him. He also realizes that he respects her for being honest with him about her feelings.
Shawn and Brie continue to talk and text after Logan comes back into her life, and Shawn begins to understand her love for him. Logan is a kind and gentle man, and he makes Brie happy. Shawn realizes that he can never be the man that Logan is to Brie, and he decides to let her go.
In the end, Shawn and Brie remain friends. Shawn is happy for Brie, and he is grateful for the time they had together. He also learns that true love is not about selfishness or possession, but about wanting the other person to be happy, even if it means letting them go.
