She moved to the United States to attend college at Harvard University, followed by graduate school in social anthropology at Johns Hopkins University. Conclusion

Parul is also struggling. She is guilt-ridden for not doing more to help Shalini, and she is worried about what will happen to her. She is also facing pressure from her family to drop the case against the men who attacked Shalini.
