Wolfbane PDF Novel Review by Andrea Cremer

Wolfsbane is the second book in the Nightshade series by Andrea Cremer, which follows the story of Calla Tor, a female alpha werewolf who is caught between two worlds and two men. In the first book, Nightshade, Calla defied her destiny and her pack by falling in love with Shay, a human boy who is the key to a prophecy that could end the tyranny of the Keepers, the powerful sorcerers who control the werewolves. Calla also betrayed her betrothed, Ren, the alpha male of a rival pack, who is loyal to the Keepers but also loves Calla.

In Wolfsbane, Calla wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, the sworn enemies of the Keepers and the werewolves. She is surprised to find out that they are not the monsters she was taught to fear, but rather a group of rebels who fight for justice and freedom. They offer Calla a chance to join them and help them overthrow the Keepers and save the werewolves from their slavery. Calla is torn between accepting their offer and risking her life, or rejecting it and losing her love and her pack. She also has to deal with the complicated feelings she has for both Shay and Ren, who are also part of the prophecy and the war.

Wolfsbane is a fast-paced and action-packed novel that explores the themes of individualism, freedom, loyalty, and love. The book is full of twists and turns, secrets and revelations, and cliffhangers and surprises. The characters are well-developed and realistic, with their own strengths and flaws, and their relationships are complex and dynamic. The book also expands the world-building and the mythology of the series, introducing new elements and characters that enrich the story.
