Read The Wolf Age Novel by James Enge Here

The Wolf Age is the third book in the Morlock Ambrosius series by James Enge, a sword and sorcery fantasy that features werewolves, immortals, and strange gods. The novel follows Morlock, a human maker who is imprisoned in the city of Wuruyaaria, a nation of werewolves with a complex social and political system. Morlock must escape from his captors, ally himself with a faction of outcast werewolves, and face a monstrous threat from the north that seeks to poison the world. He must also contend with the mysterious and powerful strange gods, who have a secret war against him.

The novel is praised for its elegant prose, dark and grim tone, and intricate worldbuilding. The werewolves are portrayed as more than just savage beasts, but as a sophisticated and diverse culture with their own history, customs, and values. The characters are well-developed and have realistic and compelling relationships and conflicts. The plot is fast-paced and full of twists and turns, as Morlock navigates the dangers and intrigues of Wuruyaaria and beyond.

The Wolf Age is a standalone book that can be enjoyed without reading the previous books in the series, although some background information on Morlock and the strange gods may be helpful. The novel is recommended for fans of dark and gritty fantasy, werewolf lore, and antiheroes.
