As they investigate, Bernie and Chet uncover a number of secrets about Tiffany. They learn that she was involved in a blackmail scheme and that she was having an affair with one of the producers of Survivor: Celebrity Edition.

Bernie and Chet also learn that Tiffany was being threatened by someone. She had received a number of threatening letters and phone calls in the weeks leading up to her murder.

Bernie and Chet eventually identify Tiffany’s killer as one of her fellow contestants on Survivor: Celebrity Edition. The killer was a former Navy SEAL who had been dishonorably discharged. He had been blackmailing Tiffany and killed her when she threatened to expose him.
