Men of the Otherworld is a collection of stories that explore the origins and lives of some of the most intriguing members of the American Pack, a group of werewolves who live in secret among humans. The book features four stories, each focusing on a different character and time period.
The first story, Infusion, tells the story of how Malcolm Danvers, the ruthless Alpha of the Pack, became a werewolf and how his son Jeremy, the current Alpha and a visionary leader, was born with a mysterious infusion of Asian blood that gave him unusual abilities.
The second story, Savage, follows the childhood and adolescence of Clayton Danvers, a feral child who was bitten by a werewolf and adopted by Jeremy. Clayton struggles to adapt to the human world and the Pack, while developing a fierce loyalty and love for his mentor and father figure.
The third story, Ascension, depicts the rise of Jeremy as the new Alpha of the Pack, after his father’s death. Jeremy faces challenges from his enemies, both within and outside the Pack, and tries to balance his responsibilities as a leader, a father, and a lover.
The fourth story, Kitsunegari, is a brand-new story written for this collection, that reveals more about Jeremy’s Asian heritage and his relationship with a mysterious woman named Jaime, who has a connection to the spirit world.
