Calvin, Yuki’s boyfriend and the Alpha of the local werewolf pack, is trying to be a good leader and a good partner, but faces challenges from a fiery, young werewolf who seeks revenge for his father’s death. Simon, Calvin’s second in command and a roguish playboy, is forced to face his dark, emotional past, and his feelings for a certain witch. Yuki herself is trying to balance her schoolwork, her love life, and her role as a spirit guide, while dealing with the ghosts that haunt her dreams and her reality.

The book is a fast-paced and entertaining read, with witty dialogue, quirky characters, and a captivating plot. The author does a great job of creating a vivid and immersive world, where the supernatural and the mundane coexist.
