Hi, I’m Kitty Norville, a werewolf and a radio DJ. You may have heard of my show, Kitty and The Midnight Hour, where I talk to the supernaturally disadvantaged and try to help them with their problems. But you may not know that I have a lot of problems of my own.
I used to be a timid, submissive, and abused member of a pack led by a cruel alpha who took half of my income and forced himself on me whenever he wanted. I had no self-esteem, no friends, and no hope. I was a loser of a werewolf, and I hated myself for it.
But everything changed when I started my show. I found a voice, a purpose, and a passion. I also found a lot of trouble. I had to deal with a bounty hunter who wanted to kill me, a vampire who wanted to control me, and a rogue werewolf who wanted to challenge me. I also had to face the wrath of my pack, who didn’t like me becoming independent and popular.
But I didn’t give up. I fought for my freedom, my dignity, and my happiness. I made some allies, some enemies, and some friends along the way. I also learned a lot about myself, my nature, and my destiny. I grew as a person, a werewolf, and a talk show host.
I’m not saying it was easy. It was hard, scary, and painful. But it was also fun, exciting, and rewarding. I don’t regret anything I did, because it made me who I am today. And I like who I am today.
