Iron Kissed PDF Novel Review by Patricia Briggs

Iron Kissed is the third book in the urban fantasy series that follows Mercy Thompson, a mechanic and a shapeshifter who can turn into a coyote. In this book, Mercy is asked to help her former boss and mentor, Zee, a powerful fae who can touch iron, to investigate a series of murders on the fae reservation. However, things get complicated when Zee is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, and Mercy has to prove his innocence while facing the wrath of the Grey Lords, the ancient and secretive rulers of the fae. Along the way, Mercy also has to deal with her complicated love life, as she is torn between two werewolves: Samuel, her childhood friend, and Adam, the local Alpha.

The review praises the book for its dark and compelling plot, its engaging and realistic characters, and its rich and imaginative fantasy elements. The review also notes that the book explores some sensitive and difficult topics, such as rape and trauma, and that it handles them with respect and honesty. The review concludes that Iron Kissed is a stellar novel that leaves the reader wanting more, and that it is the best book in the series so far.
