If you are looking for a fast-paced, action-packed, and suspenseful urban fantasy novel, you might want to check out The Blood of Brothers by Domino Finn. This is the second book in the Sycamore Moon series, but it can be read as a standalone story.
The Blood of Brothers follows Diego de la Torre, a former cop who is now a full-fledged member of The Seventh Sons Motorcycle Club, a werewolf MC that runs the wild lands of Sycamore, Arizona. Diego has to deal with the challenges of being an outlaw, a werewolf, and a brother, while also trying to protect his pack from various threats.
One of these threats is a dead body that shows up outside the local high school, skinned and drained of blood. Detective Maxim Dwyer, Diego’s former partner and friend, is assigned to the case and suspects that the Seventh Sons are involved. But there are other players in the game, such as a rival biker gang, a mercenary outfit, and an overbearing FBI agent. As the body count rises, Diego and Maxim have to work together to find out who is behind the murders and why they are targeting Sycamore.
The Blood of Brothers is a gripping and gritty novel that blends elements of crime, horror, and paranormal genres. The author, Domino Finn, creates a vivid and realistic setting, with a rich and diverse cast of characters. The plot is well-crafted and full of twists and turns, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat. The action scenes are intense and thrilling, and the dialogue is witty and sharp. The book also explores themes such as loyalty, friendship, family, and identity, adding depth and emotion to the story.
The Blood of Brothers is a highly recommended read for fans of urban fantasy, werewolf fiction, and mystery thrillers. It is a book that will keep you hooked from the first page to the last, and leave you wanting more. You can find The Blood of Brothers on Amazon, Goodreads, and other online platforms.
I really enjoyed reading The Blood of Brothers, and I think it is a great sequel to The Seventh Sons, the first book in the series. I liked how the author developed the characters and the relationships between them, especially Diego and Maxim. I also liked how the author incorporated different aspects of werewolf lore and mythology, and created a unique and original world. The book was well-written, engaging, and entertaining, and I would give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. I look forward to reading more books by Domino Finn in the future.
