Betrayals by Lille St. Crow Novel Free PDF

Betrayals is the second book in the Strange Angels series by Lili St. Crow, a pseudonym of Lilith Saintcrow. The series follows Dru Anderson, a teenage girl who hunts supernatural creatures and discovers her own unique heritage. In this book, Dru is taken to a secret school for other teens like her, where she faces danger, betrayal, and romance.

The book begins with Dru, her best friend Graves, and the mysterious Christophe escaping from a vampire attack. Christophe tells them that he is taking them to a Schola, a place where the Order of the Real World trains young djamphir (half-vampire, half-human) and wulfen (werewolves) to fight against the evil suckers (vampires). Dru is a svetocha, a rare and powerful female djamphir who can kill vampires with a touch. She is also the only girl in the Schola, which makes her a target for both enemies and admirers.

Dru soon realizes that the Schola is not as safe as it seems. There is a traitor among the students and teachers, who is leaking information to Sergej, the oldest and most powerful vampire in the world. Sergej wants Dru for his own purposes, and will stop at nothing to get her. Dru has to figure out who she can trust, while also dealing with her feelings for Graves and Christophe, who both have secrets of their own.

Betrayals is a fast-paced and action-packed novel that blends urban fantasy, horror, and romance. The book explores themes such as identity, loyalty, friendship, and love, as well as the moral ambiguity of the supernatural world. The book also introduces new characters and creatures, such as the loup-garou, the nosferat, and the svetocha’s bloom. The book ends with a cliffhanger that sets up the next installment, Jealousy.
