“Teaching My Bookworm Stepsister” is a lighthearted comedy about a young man, Kyouya, and his bookworm stepsister, Rurika. Kyouya is a typical teenage boy, more interested in sports and video games than in books. Rurika, on the other hand, is a voracious reader who loves nothing more than spending her time in the library.
One day, Kyouya’s parents ask him to help Rurika with her studies. They are worried because she is not doing well in school, and they think that Kyouya, as her older brother, can help her get back on track. Kyouya is reluctant at first, but he eventually agrees.
As Kyouya and Rurika spend more time together, Kyouya begins to see a different side of his stepsister. He realizes that she is not just a bookworm, but also a kind and intelligent girl. He also discovers that he actually enjoys spending time with her.
One day, Kyouya and Rurika are studying together when Rurika tells Kyouya that she wants to learn how to play baseball. Kyouya is surprised, but he agrees to teach her. The two of them start practicing together every day, and Rurika quickly learns the basics of the game.
One day, Kyouya’s baseball team is short a player, so he asks Rurika to fill in. Rurika is hesitant at first, but she eventually agrees. Rurika plays well, and the team wins the game.
After the game, Rurika tells Kyouya that she had a lot of fun playing baseball. She also tells him that she is glad that he is her stepbrother. Kyouya is happy to hear this, and he realizes that he is glad to have Rurika in his life.
